INSPIRATION
The inspiration came from the beautiful silk blouses in the market that we pined after but could not afford. Her is a new and improved version of those sought after pieces.
SOURCE
This blouse is made in a female-led, family-owned and operated manufacturing facility in southern China. Workers are paid a fair living wage and have longevity in the factory of up to 25 years. The silk is spun and dyed in a bluesign mill using only nontoxic dyes. " bluesign" is a system that provides safer and more sustainable environments for people to work in and everyone to live in. Powered by a holistic approach, bluesign traces each textile's path along the manufacturing process, making improvements at every stage from the factory floor to finished product.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent. Only non-chlorine bleach when necessary. Line dry, cool iron if necessary. Alternately dry clean - if preferred.
